Elizabeth Finch, AuD., CCC-A, FAAA
Board Certified Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Finch received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, her Masters degree from Arizona State University and a Doctorate in Audiology from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry School of Audiology. She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, a member of the Arizona Speech-Language-Hearing Association, a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, and a member of the American Auditory Society. Dr. Finch is licensed by the state of Arizona as both an audiologist and a hearing aid dispenser and will be happy to help you with your hearing healthcare needs.
Prior to moving to Tucson, Dr. Finch completed a clinical fellowship and internships in a variety of offices, including a very busy hearing aid and ENT clinic, a neuro-otology office, and Banner hospitals in Phoenix. Her training has allowed her to work with the latest technology in hearing aids and cochlear implants, and with every population from premature babies to older adults. She has had extensive training in the evaluation of dizziness, balance disorders, and vertigo, and administers Videonystagmography (VNG) balance testing.
Dr. Finch has been with the practice since 2005 and currently serves at our Tucson and Oro Valley Offices. She also is on staff at the Northwest Oro Valley Hospital and is a clinical supervisor for the University of Arizona.
Dr. Finch can answer any question you may have about your hearing loss and hearing aids. Your preferences are always important and she will work with you to choose the most appropriate hearing aids and amplification accessories based on your hearing loss and lifestyle. She has training and experience in cochlear implant technology, and has guided many patients through the process of learning to listen again through the use of a cochlear implant.
